Nafisa is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Board Approved Supervisor who has worked across a variety of community mental health settings including developing NGO mental health services in South West Sydney, as the Director of Counselling Services for Macquarie University, in private practice and The Australian Human Rights Commission. From early in her career, Nafisa has seen beyond diagnoses to the rich stories shaped by culture, identity, and defining moments in life. Nafisa offers clinical therapy, Neurodivergent consultation and clinical supervision.

Clinical Therapy for Individuals
Nafisa has extensive experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, experiences of marginalisation, and neurodiversity, and takes a holistic approach that recognises the interconnected psychological, cultural, and systemic factors influencing wellbeing.
Guided by compassion and openness, Nafisa aims to creates a therapeutic space that feels respectful and collaborative to each person’s unique journey and strengths. Drawing on evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, Schema Therapy, Relational psychotherapy, Systemic therapies and Behavioural therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, CBT-E), Nafisa aims to support an individual make meaningful and sustainable change.

Nafisa offers a consultation service for parents, teachers, and professionals seeking guidance on neurodivergence.
Parents and carers may use this service for support in deciding whether to pursue assessment or diagnosis, understanding assessment reports, and accessing evidence-based parenting, behavioural, educational, and communication strategies. Nafisa can also assist with navigating school processes, NDIS pathways, and medical systems, as well as providing parenting support following a new diagnosis.
Teachers, health professionals, and service providers working with neurodivergent children or adults can access consultation on classroom and behavioural strategies, communication supports, educational adjustments, and system navigation across schools, NDIS, and healthcare settings.

Clinical Supervision
Nafisa is a Board-approved supervisor with a strong interest in social justice, cultural reflexivity, and human rights. She offers collaborative, reflective supervision to psychologists and allied professionals across all stages of practice, from clinical registrars to experienced psychologists, to social workers, professional individuals and professional teams.
With experience across diverse community mental health settings—including developing NGO mental health services in South West Sydney, serving as Director of Counselling Services at Macquarie University, working in private practice, and consulting with the Australian Human Rights Commission—Nafisa supports practitioners to gain confidence and deepen insight, particularly in complex situations, while aligning their work with their values, professional standards (Psychologist's Code of Conduct) and evolving best practices.
