Nafisa is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Board Approved Supervisor who has worked across a variety of community mental health settings including developing NGO mental health services in South West Sydney, as the Director of Counselling Services for Macquarie University, in private practice and The Australian Human Rights Commission. From early in her career, Nafisa has seen beyond diagnoses to the rich stories shaped by culture, identity, and defining moments in life. Nafisa offers clinical therapy, Neurodivergent consultation and clinical supervision.

Clinical Therapy

Nafisa has recently introduced a unique service for parents, teachers or professionals navigating questions about neurodivergence. You may be a parent seeking support in navigating assessment, diagnosis or the latest in evidence- based parenting, behavioural, educational and communication strategies. This service is aimed at helping parents to make decisions around seeking further assessment for their child, to provide individual or parenting support for those caring for neurodivergent family members, and assistance managing schooling, NDIS and medical systems.
If you are a teacher, service provider of health professional working directly with neurodivergent children or adults you may also use this service to seek consultation on classroom management strategies, behavioural support, communication, educational supports and advice navigating school, NDIS and medical systems.

Board Approved Supervision
Nafisa provides supervision services with a special interest in social justice, cultural reflexivity and human rights. As a Board-approved supervisor, Nafisa provides a collaborative and reflective approach. She supervises and mentors psychologists, social workers, counsellors, support workers, and non-profit professionals and teams including in her work with Bodhi & Psychology for The Australian Human Rights Commission. In supervision, Nafisa encourages curiosity and critical thinking to navigate the complex challenges psychologists face. Nafisa supervises across the developmental spectrum from Clinical Registrar to experienced Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists. Nafisa will support practitioners gain confidence and deepen insight, especially with complex circumstances. Nafisa's supervision practices centre social justice and advocacy, helping supervisees align their work with their values, the Psychologist's Code of Conduct and changes to the Psychologist's general and clinical competencies.
Nafisa has extensive experience supervising individuals , groups and teams across a range of disciplines to include social justice, community engagement, and systemic advocacy.
